The Priest’s Room

The Priest’s Room is a charming Grade II Listed garden building that had been disused for many years and urgently needed repair. The brief was to find a viable new use for the garden building which would not harm the unique character and significance of the historic structure.

The building was sensitively repaired and adapted. A natural, breathable limecrete floor with recycled foam glass insulation was installed as part of the project. Locally sourced timber was used for the floors and internal joinery. The wood was cut and seasoned on-site and used throughout the project.
