Mission House

Mission House is a new-build house located on the site of a former tin church in Combe Down, Bath. The design needed to be fully accessible and was planned to provide the maximum living space on the small site with access to a garden. The building was designed to be highly energy-efficient, with abundant natural daylight.

Cotswold limestone was used alongside natural cedar cladding to complement the character of the Conservation Area. The three pitched roofs were clad in black zinc to reference the tin tabernacle that once existed on the site.
